A TWO-YEAR DISCIPLESHIP JOURNEY FOR CHURCH ON THE ROCKWATCH
I TRULY BELIEVE THAT WHEN EVERY ONE OF US SAYS “YES” TO EVERYTHING JESUS ASKS OF US, WE WILL ALWAYS SEE MIRACLES HAPPEN AND MOUNTAINS MOVE!
Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
PRIMARY GOAL: 100 % ENGAGEMENT… ALL OF US, ALL IN
How do we make room for one more? We ask this question because we believe it’s rooted in the heart of God for everyone to experience the eternal joy of joining the family of God.
Although we have seen thousands of lives transformed to date, we also see thousands more within our own communities who still need the life-changing power of the gospel.
SECONDARY GOAL – $11.5 MILLION RAISED
This is first a discipleship journey, and next we are believing God with a secondary goal of $11.5 million to accomplish four main objectives over the next two years. We have divided the objectives into percentages. One More Soul, One More Served, One More Community, and One More Seat.
ROOM FOR THE ONE MORE…
ONE MORE SOUL
We will continue to invest in our in-house ministries and so much more, trusting God to help us reach “one more” through our regular Sunday services, online platforms, camps and conferences, and outreach events.
ONE MORE SERVED
We will maintain and increase our ongoing missions commitments, partnerships, and generosity by giving monthly to missions. As our income increases, so will our financial generosity to missions each year.
ONE MORE COMMUNITY
We will look to expand our reach into new communities across Alaska by establishing house churches in remote locations along the road system and in “Bush Alaska”, as well as launching new campuses.
ONE MORE SEAT
It is our goal to expand the seating capacity from 400 to over 750 SEATS in our flagship campus in Wasilla in order to better facilitate growth and new ministry opportunities.

WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ME TO DO?
Pray and seek God’s leading, commit to what He asks of you, and join us in the journey. Attend the six-week ONE MORE series. Engage in a discipleship group. Reflect on weekly sermons using the Vision Guide + Discipleship Series book. Share why you are committing to support the ONE MORE initiative with others.
WHY NOW?
Our communities and church are growing significantly, and we have a unique opportunity this season to expand our resources and capacity to reach more people for Jesus.
WHAT’S A ONE FUND INITIATIVE?
You may have been a part of church giving campaigns in the past, during which you were asked to give a second gift “above and beyond” your usual giving to make special initiatives like new buildings and new ministries possible.
Typically, you would give that gift to a designated fund while continuing to give your tithes and offerings to the general fund. At Church on the Rock, we believe that it is all part of ONE MISSION we are on as we develop people who Love, Live, and Lead like Jesus. We want to encourage all of us across all locations to unleash our generosity toward that one mission.
This ONE MORE journey will last for two years. Over these two years, every gift given to Church on the Rock will go towards the ONE MORE initiative’s four main objectives.
